Life Lately: A Month of Marriage

Hey loves!

Today I'm going to share some pictures that are non-wedding related. Since tomorrow is one month since the wedding I want to update you on what we've been up to since then. I'll pick back up with wedding posts soon because there is still SO much to share but I really want to share the professional photos with you once they come in.

My to-do list length is only rivaled by my blog to-do list...so much to write!

Anyways here's what we've been up to over the last month:

I have been so lucky to get to have lunch with this little one on occasion!

She got the chance to ride Rhody the Ram at URI and clearly was pleased with herself!

Tim and I also attended the Trunk or Treat that Brittni's family started hosting each year. This year the rain put a damper on the trunk part of it but they still held the party! We weren't planning on decorating a trunk since it was the weekend after our wedding so we weren't disappointed about that aspect. It's so cute to see all the little ones in their costumes.

Parker was cruising around in her walker!

Emma kept enjoying poking Tim with her horn. Little troublemaker.

We spent some time at the rock painting table since that's what Emma seemed to enjoy the most.

Then Tim worked on his muscles by holding Emma and Bella up so they could draw on the white board.

At work they threw me a surprise wedding party!

It was so sweet and unexpected!

Tim turned 30! We celebrated by going to BJs Brewhouse with Derek, Ally and Shawn. Then we went to Richards Pub to continue the celebrations.

I love this guy and glad he's old like me now!

On Election Day I had the whole day off so first I voted...

Then I headed to social security to officially change my name! (Man that is a LONG process...still not done)

We also got to meet Ryan (our friend Jenna's little boy!) He was born back in the summer but we hadn't been able to meet him yet. It was so nice to visit with Jenna and Chris while we soaked up some baby time.

On Veteran's Day while Tim worked I went to play with the babies!

Parker and I bonded while I pushed her on the swing!

Then we played in Emma's room for a little bit until I had to leave. Such a fun day!

Now I'm off to try to get some things checked off my to-do list! What did you do this month?!

Two Years

Today Tim and I have been together for TWO years!

Two years ago today we met at the Mews Tavern for dinner and drinks and stayed there talking for five hours. Then we never stopped talking...

Tim, I love you so much and am so lucky that I have someone as wonderful as you in my life. I can't wait to see what our future holds!

Life Lately: Quick Trip to Vermont

Just a little Life Lately update for you guys to brighten up your Monday morning!

Lately I've been working a ton of hours and am always super thankful when my little friend Emma comes to meet us Brittni and I for lunch.

Having a sweet lunch date gives me so much to look forward to and helps me go into work every day #truth. Although I love having lunch with just Brittni too :)

On Friday night Tim and I headed into Target, we went in thinking about buying an air mattress for our weekend trip to Vermont but ended up passing on buying one since they are pretty expensive. We decided we would rather just drive home and sleep in our own bed anyways so we picked up a few more things for a gift, some Halloween decorations (because who can pass up decor?!) and then checked out some Halloween costumes...

Tim LOVES pizza, I mean loooooooooooves pizza. I think it would be an extremely difficult decision if he had to choose between anything else important to him and pizza. To prove my point I just asked him to choose between pizza and football and he told me that it is impossible. I asked him to choose between me and pizza and he said "nothing, I mean you, you!" Nice save buddy.

Anyways, we both thought this was hilarious and would be a PERFECT Halloween costume for Tim. We didn't purchase it but it's a definite contender.

Saturday morning started pretty early as we got up and got ready to head up to Vermont. We had Kate and Mike's baby shower to attend! They have chosen to not find out if it's a boy or girl so they have been calling him/her McBaby for the time being.

We played McBaby Bingo while they opened their gifts..

They were asked to write their answers on whiteboards and turn around at the same time. This question was "Mike hopes the baby is a..." Kate wrote "boy" and Mike wrote "live" as in alive. There were some interesting answers that caused us all to laugh and laugh. Especially when they revealed that when they found out they were pregnant Mike wouldn't stop pacing and Kate was sitting at the top of the stairs completely paralyzed. Sounds like appropriate reactions to me!

We had a great time eating the delicious food, particularly the pizzas Mike made. One of my favorite parts of the party was when we sat around the fire outside playing a game called salad bowl.
It was a game I'd never heard of before but it was so fun and I can't wait to play it again.

Everyone writes down four words or phrases on to pieces of paper and places them in a bowl. Then you go around the circle pulling papers out and trying to describe what's on your paper while your team guesses what the paper says discarding the papers that they get right. There is a timer and when it goes off you pass the bowl to the next person and it keeps going until all the papers are completed. Then you do a second round where you have to act them out. Then a third round where you can only describe it with one word. It was a blast!

We left around 7:30 so we could head home since it was a four hour trip back!

Sunday was spent mostly on the couch watching football which was a perfect relaxing day before heading back into the week.

Have a great day everybody!

Things I'm Loving Lately....

Happy Friday!

I thought for today's post I would just share a few of things I am loving lately!

Okay, I love her always but I couldn't resist putting Roxy at the top of this list. Look how goofy she is. She sat there in the car, holding her treat in her mouth, never once bit into it. She just held it like that for most of the car ride and when it was time to get out dropped it. What a weird dog...

Halloween nails! Even when they last only five seconds because I can't sit still. It's still fun to paint them and make them pretty!

Living near the water. I love being able to drive down to the ocean any time of day and having a beautiful view. I am particularly a fan of Split Rock in Westerly lately =)

Also on my list of loves lately:

The Changing Leaves
I will try to get some good pictures this weekend of the leaves for you!

Make You Feel My Love by Adele
Loving this song lately- I've been pretty obsessed with this song over the past few weeks!

Once Upon a Time in Wonderland
I'm surprised that I like this show! I love Once Upon a Time (the original) but I was afraid to try this show because I've never liked Alice in Wonderland- however it's great! (and also includes some parts of Aladdin- for those Aladdin lovers out there!). I'm still loving Once Upon a Time and Revenge!

What are you loving lately?!
