September Empties and Declutter

So I finished off a whole bin of products last month! I saved one cleaning product but unless I have a new product to share I think I'm going to start fading those out of the month empties- unless it's something you'd like to continue seeing. If that's the case then leave me a comment and I'll keep it up, otherwise into the recycling bin they go!

So here's an overview of everything I finished up.

Now lets get into the specifics!

I finished up two candles this month. The first is a candle that I received as a gift and was a light scent  but unfortunately there is nothing on the label telling me what the scent was. It was very fresh and I especially loved the container it came in! Teal is a popular color in our living room. The second candle is from Bath and Body Works candle in Caribbean Escape and this is one of my favorite summer scents. I love Bath and Body Works Candles and enjoyed this one a lot. I would definitely repurchase it in the future.

Two random products I used up were an EOS Shave Cream and Coppertone Water Babies Sunscreen. I would definitely repurchase both of these products in the future. The shave cream is so nice because you can use it wet or dry and the sunscreen works great on my pale, pale skin.

This is the one cleaning product I saved. I love Lysol wipes especially in the bathroom where I feel the need to really sanitize things. I will keep purchasing these for the time being.

I finished up the last of my Victoria's Secret fragrance mists.  Amber Romance was an okay scent but I'm glad that I have finished it up and it's out of my collection! I also used up a mini perfume in Victor and Rolf's Flowerbomb scent. I used this while we were in Disney which was great since I didn't have to to haul any of my big perfume bottles with me.

Three soaps were finished up this month. The first is Bath and Body Works Bright Autumn Day which was my absolute favorite soap this month. I would definitely repurchase this in the future if BBW continues to make it. The Softsoap Lavender and Chamomile has been in my stockpile for awhile so I'm glad to finish it up. I am not a huge fan of this scent so I definitely won't repurchase it or get it in the future. The last soap is Bath and Body Works Black Raspberry Vanilla soap which Tim commented on saying that he loved the scent. It wasn't my favorite but I can definitely get on board with future vanilla scents since that is what Tim really loved about it.

I know you guys see this often from me but I love Macadamia Oil Deep Repair Masque. I use this often and continue to purchase it because it works wonders on my crazy hair!

Only 4 Cake Batter chapsticks this month which isn't too many! I'm still loving these and using them hundreds of times a day.

I surprisingly finished up quite a few face products this month. The Melissa Day Cream despite carrying my name made my face burn. I was not happy with it! Derma-e Microdermabrasion Scrub was nice but I definitely don't think I need to repurchase this in the future. The Patchology mask was just fine but I find sheet masks super creepy! I didn't feel any major change in my skin but would be willing to try further products by the company if they aren't sheet masks! I finished up two Dermalogica products which I really liked. The first is a toner and the second is a cleanser both I heard about from Sam over at Simply Organized. I thought they were simple and didn't do anything amazing for my skin but it didn't hurt it either so I'm going to try some other things but I may come back to it.

Lastly I have two products I didn't finish up. The first is Klorane makeup remover which I was using and it was super oily. I did plan on finishing it until I got some sort of black speck in it...I wasn't interested in using it after that! The Milk Sunshine Oil is not something that I was looking to use and knew I would never use up. So, I decided to toss it!

That's all I finished up in September, what products did you use up last month?

May Birchbox

Since it's mid-June perhaps it's time to review what came in my May Birchbox right?

I have to be totally honest and say that I haven't been good about using products as they come in. This moving business has totally messed with my organization...I haven't even organized my products- they are just shoved into drawers right now!

Anyways...back to business...

I love how Birchbox does different themes each month and I love when the summer months come because the boxes are always so bright and festive!

The first product is from Coola and is a mineral primer. I'm not a huge primer person but I will try anything by Coola because they make such awesome products.

Obliphica Seaberry Serum looks interesting to me. I definitely have coarse hair so I will be trying out this product to see if it makes any difference with my unruly hair!

I'm not sure about this Vita Liberate Fabulous Self-Tanner. I've never been the type of girl to use self tanner but I don't get out in the sun much working in an office all day so I am considering trying this!

Every Irish girl needs some sunscreen in her life! I love getting sunscreen samples so I don't have to spend all my money preventing burns!

Lastly a Model Co lip gloss! The color is very pretty despite the fact that I don't wear lip products too often. I do like Model Co products so I was excited to find this in my box!

What did you get in your beauty box this month? Any new products you've bought to try?

March Birchbox

Happy Sunday everyone!

I'm off to Florida tomorrow afternoon and was just cleaning up my photos on the old Macbook to have room for alllllllll the pictures I plan on taking while away and I realized I never shared my March Birchbox!

I love looking in my box and seeing all the fun products inside!

This Cargo eyeshadow is absolutely gorgeous. This is from the Land Down Under palette and I love the light pink and sparkly brown that came in my box. The pigmentation is great and I will definitely be using this beauty!

I haven't tried these Wilma Schummann hydrating collagen eye pads but I think that they would be amazing to revitalize the area beneath my eyes. I tend to get puffy and have dark circles and if this helps then that would be amazing.

I'm not a huge face product girl. I don't like caking makeup on my skin and tend to stick with mostly eye products however I do like that BB creams are a bit lighter then foundation. This Marcelle BB cream will be something I'll definitely try.

I think I may have received Amika perk up dry shampoo in the past and although I don't use dry shampoo too often I definitely like to have it around.

This will be a staple this week in Florida! I love Coola sunscreen even though it's super expensive. I don't actually purchase it, but whenever I receive it in my Birchbox I always use it on my face! It was a nice surprise to see this inside my box this month!

What did you receive in your Birchbox this month?
