Private Ultrasound Experience

Happy Monday everyone!

Today I am sharing my experience of doing a private ultrasound. Normally, I wouldn't have paid for a private ultrasound if I'm being 100% honest. It's not something I would've considered necessary and since I've been able to see Ellie at multiple ultrasounds I wouldn't have normally been concerned with doing a 3D/4D ultrasound.  However, Tim hasn't been allowed in a single ultrasound.

Now I've had several people tell me that it's not a big deal for your husband to be able to come to the ultrasound. I've had people share their experiences of their husbands missing one ultrasound or people tell me that ultrasounds didn't exist when they were pregnant. Please don't ever tell a woman that her husband not being there to see their child is not important. For me this pregnancy has been very real from the get-go. I felt sick, we dealt with our twin loss, and I just have felt pregnant. Tim hasn't been able to have any real eye-opening moments to feel like the pregnancy is real. He of course has driven me to two ultrasounds and seen all the printed pictures but he hasn't seen Ellie move on the screen and see how real it is. This was necessary.

After holding out through all my ultrasound appointments to see if he would be allowed in I finally gave in and scheduled a private ultrasound at Babies & Bellies. I picked an $85 basic 2D package which included 15 minutes of ultrasound, pictures and videos sent to my email or phone, and I was allowed up to 6 guests to come with me.

I decided that it would only be Tim and I because we needed that private moment for him to see our daughter for the first time. I thought that allowing anyone else in would take away from that special moment and I really wanted to watch his reaction.

On Saturday we headed into our appointment and got to see our little baby girl.

Now, I only paid for 2D...but they showed us 3D!! Look how cute she is! I couldn't see the lower half of Tim's face because of the mask requirement but afterwards he told me he smiled the entire time. I could see the absolute joy in his face though, it was such a special moment.

Of course I had only seen her in 2D up until this point so this gave me a better idea of what she actually looks like. It's still hard for me to get a good idea of what she will look like when she's on the outside. Our ultrasound tech was amazing and really took her time showing us everything. She showed us her foot that has been resting on my bladder (yup! knew that was happening!!) and showed us that she had her other foot pulled up but her face. She was trying to suck on the cord and also had her hand up by her face and was trying to get her thumb in her mouth again.

Her lips looked so full and I do think she has my nose, but it's hard to tell for sure! The ultrasound tech also told us to come back again so we could see her better when she's bigger. I am not sure that we will because it is pricey but it's nice that they offer multiple sessions if you'd like to do that.

Here's the 2D image, such a difference!

Overall, it was an amazing experience and I am SO glad we went for the private ultrasound. If you are in the Rhode Island area I highly recommend Babies & Bellies. Everyone there was so nice and they send you off with a little gift bag full of free samples when you leave which is so sweet.

Have you ever had a private ultrasound?

Hair Products I'm Testing

I am testing a bunch of hair products out recently so I thought I would share them with you! I haven't determined my true feelings on any of them yet so you'll be hearing that later on but you can read my initial thoughts here.

First up is Living Proof Perfect Hair Day in-shower styler

I have only used this a handful of times and so far am not loving it. I have read so many positive reviews of this product which made me want to try it and have only heard how amazing it is so I reallllly want to like it. I will keep trying it to see if it gets any better. I am making sure to try it different ways (scrunching my hair, braiding it, putting it in a bun, etc...)

I just picked up this Garnier Fructis product this past weekend and really like the idea of being able to use products without any heat. I have only used this once and didn't think it did anything with my frizz. My hair is naturally very frizzy and a mix of waves and curls so it is tough to tame. I think I will try this out some different ways though and see if it works differently.

I love a good heat protectant and this Garnier Fructis one states it works with 450* and my straightener gets really hot so that is definitely a good thing. I have yet to try this but will definitely get back to you on what I think.

I use hair oil quite a bit when I have flyaways and my hair is extra frizzy. I just finished up the oil I was using and pulled this one from my drawer because I had used it a couple times previously and remember liking it. We will see if that opinion still stands!

Lastly is Nexxus Hair Spray which I use anytime I put my hair up in braids or a high bun. I really like the smell of this hairspray. It's not super strong smelling which is good but the hairspray works great without holding too much. I like to be able to move my hair if I want to which makes this hairspray a perfect fit so far.

So that's what I'm trying in the hair product world right now. I will keep you updated and you will see these products back in future empties posts with my final reactions!

The Heir by Kiera Cass

From the moment I discovered Kiera Cass, I was hooked! Her novels in The Selection series had me enthralled from beginning to end. In case you haven't read The Selection or any of the books in the series they are about a post-apocalyptic that centers around a royal family. The royal family holds a "selection" so their son can find a wife in a Bachelor-like world. America Singer is one of the lucky few sent to the castle and eventually after three novels (SPOILER) wins Prince Maxon's heart.

This novel, The Heir, centers around their daughter Eadlyn. Princess Eadlyn agrees to host a selection for her own heart just as a distraction for the kingdom and quickly learns that having a selection was not as easy as she thought it would be.

I love that these novels remind me of the show The Bachelor. If you've been reading for awhile you know that the Bachelor is one of my guilty pleasure tv shows. I think it's a very cool concept and anything to do with love and royalty will instantly capture my attention!

I found Eadlyn to be a more annoying main character then America was in the first three books. While America was headstrong she never was pompous which I found Eadlyn to be, maybe simply because she grew up as royalty where America grew up in the lower class.

I really did enjoy this novel and while I was surprised to learn that there was a fourth book in this series, so I was shocked that this book finished on a cliffhanger. I hope that means that another book will be coming out in the not too distant future!

Have you read any great books lately?!

Saint Anything by Sarah Dessen

... Saint Anything preview (via Netgalley) that I’ve had on my kindle

A few months ago I saw that Sarah Dessen was releasing a new book in May and knew that I needed to pre-order it to my kindle! On May 5th it was delivered and I had it read by the end of the day on May 6th!

Although Sarah Dessen's books are considered "young adult" I enjoy every second of them. Her novels are easily relatable and make you feel like a high schooler again. There is so much complexity to that age that is hard to describe and Sarah always makes you feel understood.

This book revolves around Sydney a girl who has consistently lived in the shadow of her older brother and not in a good way. Sydney's brother Peyton has been in trouble with the law and because of that her parents have always been involved in his life and not cared as much about hers. Sydney switches schools, makes new friends, and enters in a relationship that changes her world for the better.

This book was one of my favorites that Sarah Dessen has written and I would highly recommend it to anyone who has read even a single book by her in the past!

Have you read any great books lately? I have a list that I've read recently to review so make sure you stay tuned for more book reviews!

March Birchbox (And Review!)

Oh my I am running far behind this month! I am just getting around to posting about what I received in my March Birchbox...whoops! Since I'm so delayed I'm just going to share my review in this post as well. This may be something I do every month from now on, instead of a post where I show what I received and then one with a review I'm thinking I may just combine them from now on!

The Cover FX BB Gel is pretty much a BB cream and is a light coverage foundation. It matches my skin well and feels very light on my skin. I don't mind it at all- but it's definitely not my favorite. I wouldn't purchase it in the future but I will continue to use up the sample.

Sincerely by Harvey Prince isn't as horrible as the Harvey Prince Ageless I received last month but it is certainly not my favorite. This scent is described as sweet and spicy but I think it smells a little like a gross cleaning product...not what I want to smell like! I have been trying to use it up and have a couple more uses in my little sample- but this is going on a list of items I never want to purchase.

Oh my goodness. I am not a lipstick girl. At all. But man, this is a gorgeous lipstick! This color is mostly nude but adds a bit of shimmer and a tad bit of pink. Not only do I think it looks nice- it feels great which is more important. I have worn this out a few times recently and I'm a huge fan! I would honestly consider purchasing this in the future!

Another loved product! I have been using this Amika Blowout Spray before blowdrying my hair and it works great! I feel like my hair is protected and it smells fabulous. I would purchase a full size of this in the future for sure.

The N4 Clarifying Shampoo and Reconstructing Maque made my hair feel like crap. These products dried my hair out beyond belief and I would never use this again. I don't know how a reconstructing masque could possibly dry my hair out- but it did! Never again!

That's what I received in my Birchbox this month- what did you get? Any products you loved? Any you hated?

December Birchbox Review

This month I got some nice products in my monthly Birchbox!

I thought this Rusk texture spray would be more of a texture inducing spray instead of a hairspray- but it is definitely hairspray material! This gives my hair more of a hold then anything else and also smells like hairspray.

I will definitely continue to use it up but it's not something I would ever feel the need to purchase in the future.

I used this Dr. Jart+ BB cream instead of foundation a few days and found that it has terrific coverage. I like BB (and CC) creams because I find them to be lighter on my skin but still have great coverage. I found that the color isn't always an exact match for me though since my skin is so light. This particular beauty balm was nice, not an exact match for me but I managed to make it work.

I am not usually a lip product person since I am completely addicted to my Burts Bees chapstick, however I've been trying to wear more lip products when I go out and a few weekends ago I wore this  Date Worthy Lip Lush out and loved it. The color is very subtle so it's not obvious that you are even wearing a gloss. I also felt that it kept my lips fairly moisturized which is my biggest issue when I'm not wearing my Burts Bees. I will definitely use this again next time- and I also love the name of this gloss, very creative!

I've used this SeaRx serum under my moisturizer a few times and don't know that it's doing anything too much for my skin- but it's been fun to try out. I will use up the same but I don't think it's something I need to repurchase or use long term (at least not yet!)

This Kajal extreme liner by Vasanti is so much fun! I wasn't totally sure how I would feel about this rose gold eyeliner but it is beautiful! I love how subtle it is and have been using it on my lower water line mostly. The color really brightens up my eyes and isn't too intense! I will definitely be using this more- and it has made me consider bolder eyeliner choices in the future!

Stay tuned this week will have some fun blog posts- including my last Project 365 as well as some New Years Resolutions!

I hope you have a great start to your week! =)

September Birchbox Review

I'm going to be 100% upfront and honest with you guys right now. This has been a rough month in the beauty products world. With all the moving around, starting a new job and not knowing where I am or where my stuff is 99.9% of the time I wasn't as motivated as normal to try out all my new samples from Birchbox. SO, here we go.

The Harvey Prince perfume sample I received was something I wasn't too excited to try out but I ended up loving it! It was a sweet, fruity scent that definitely would be something I'd check out again in the future. I have so many full sized perfumes that I am currently trying to use up so I won't be buying it too soon.

I'm gonna be honest, this bottle looks exactly the same. I didn't have the patience to try out a new face product...but I will try it out soon.... I promise!

I loved, loved, loved this Tocca lotion. It is a light, creamy consistency and kept my hands very moisturized. I would definitely be willing to purchase this in the future if I ever run out of lotion (which doesn't seem too likely!) This little sample was perfect during the move though!

I tried it. I really did. I had a day where I ran out of Burts Bees and decided to give it a try....After work I went to CVS and purchased more Burts Bees.  I couldn't do it! This Chapstick did not give my lips the tingly feeling that I like so much, so back to Burts Bees I go!

I love Macadamia products and this healing oil spray is no different. I would definitely purchase this in the future once this little sample runs out. It is one of those products that I have been using every day since I got it because it makes my hair nice and smooth. It's great after straightening my hair because it smooths out all my frizziness which I love.

What products did you try this month?

End of Summer Empties

Throughout June, July and August I tossed all my empty products inside a huge DSW bag so I could give you a bunch of reviews in one post!

I went through a ton of products over the last three months- over 80 products total! We're going to get through them as fast as possible- so we better get started!

I went through a ton of haircare products this month.

Pantene Prov V Advanced Keratin Shampoo and Conditioner- This was a great shampoo and conditioner combination, along with the Pantene Pro V Age Defy Hair Mask they made my hair feel incredible silky and light. I would use these thee products again without question..however since I got them couponing I'm not sure I would ever actually pay for them because there are other products I like a little bit more.

Macademia Deep Repair Masque is one of my all-time favorite hair products. It's quite pricey but I do love it and will continue to repurchase it. It makes my hair feel great and smells incredible!

Clear Scalp and Hair Therapy Shampoo and Conditioner are my favorite shampoo and conditioner combo currently. I would use them exclusively if I didn't get other things for free! They are amazing and they make my hair feel like it is completely healthy. I like the concept behind the Clear brand with hair health starting at the root, I think it truly makes a difference with my hair.

Loreal Advanced Shampoo and Conditioner this was a decent shampoo and conditioner. Not my favorite but I would use it again. I also liked the Loreal Repair Conditioner it seemed to make my hair feel nice and soft.

Biolage Matrix I hated this shampoo and conditioner. It made my hair so stringy and gross and I wanted to pour other types of conditioner on my hair to just make it feel a little bit better. I definitely will never purchase this and I don't know why so many people go crazy over it.

Suave Shampoo and Conditioner This is another okay shampoo and conditioner. It wasn't my favorite, it didn't do anything incredibly wonderful for my hair but it wasn't bad by any means. I wouldn't pay money for it but I would definitely use it again. The Suave Leave In Cream was okay but I didn't like leaving such a thick product in my hair.

Beauty Protector Shampoo and Conditioner This shampoo and conditioner was from a Birchbox and was absolutely awful. My hair felt like it was gluing itself together into mounds of tangles. I wouldn't recommend this particular shampoo and conditioner to anyone whose hair tangles easily.

Purse Brush I have been carrying this brush inside my purse for years and it's finally time to let it go!

Klorane Dry Shampoo I liked this dry shampoo but I'm excited to try other ones. This one was great and really made my hair feel nice when I didn't wash it so I would definitely pick it up again.

Diamond Candles Carnival Candy This was a great candle that smelt just like cotton candy! I didn't get a very good ring out of the candle (I NEVER get a good one!) but I love how much scent throw the soy candles seem to have. I would repurchase this scent again in the future- but I have loved every scent that I've tried from Diamond Candles. I will keep ordering from them- they make really great gifts too!

Bath and Body Works Palm Beach Cooler This is my favorite candle ever. Unfortunately, it wasn't brought back this year- meaning that this was the last candle of its kind that I will ever get to burn. I enjoyed it immensely while it lasted!

Bath and Body Works Coco Lobo This was a nice smelling candle but the small size made the scent throw awful. I want to actually smell my candles while they're burning! The scent of this was mostly sunscreen and I loved it!

Bath and Body Works Tiki Beach I liked this candle but once again- there was no scent throw! This smelled like the beach and had a great fresh scent and I would definitely consider repurchasing it in the future.

Febreeze Set and Refresh This air freshener made my room smell nice and fresh, however when you have it right in front of you it smells horrible! I got these for free when couponing and would be willing to get them again if I got them free.

Yankee Candle Vanilla Frosting Car Vent Clips These didn't seem to work at all! I don't think they smelt like vanilla frosting, nor did I feel like any scent was in my car from these vent clips. I would not purchase these again.

Sensodyne Toothpaste This is the only toothpaste I use anymore and this summer I finished up three travel sized ones and one large sized. This is the only toothpaste that doesn't give me canker sores so I refuse to use anything else! I highly recommend it if you have any issues with canker sores.

Crest 3D White Strips I liked these but I don't think that they are entirely necessary. If I happened to get a good deal on them I would purchase them and use them again.

Crest Pro Health Mouthwash I love this mouthwash- it''s so gentle and works well without making you feel like your mouth is on fire. I have stocked up on these and will continue using them. It's really easy to find these for free at the drugstores after coupons and sales so that makes them even better.

Listerene Mouthwash I used two of these free samples but I really don't care for this mouthwash. I don't really like feeling the burn in my mouth when I use this mouthwash but I would use it again if I got it for free but I definitely wouldn't pay for it.

Method Antibac Toilet Cleaner The toilet bowl cleaner works great and I love that there are no harmful chemicals in it but I didn't care for the scent of it. I would be interested in repurchasing it in the future, but I would definitely like to look for it in another scent if they offer it.

Pledge Multisurface Cleaner I liked this cleaner and it seemed to work well on all the furniture in my room. I have another in my stockpile and I would repurchase it in the future. The scent was really fresh and clean and didn't smell overly like cleaning product so I definitely enjoyed that.

Fragonard Shower Gel This shower gel smells orange-y, but not in a sickingly sweet orange way. It's actually from my trip to France last fall and the hotel that provided it was near the Fragonard perfumery. I wouldn't purchase this because it's just not a scent I really enjoy but I don't think that would be a possibility anyways.

Mercure and Me Shower Gel I finished up three of these little shower gels from my France trip. They were okay, not great. They smelled fresh but I couldn't pinpoint a particular scent they relate to!

Bath and Body Works Sweet Pea Shower Gel I am so sick of the sweet pea scent so I am definitely happy to see this shower gel take a hike. I love Bath and Body Works products but this scent is just one that I'm not repurchasing in the future.

100% Pure Gingerade Shower Gel I love 100% pure products and the theory behind them but this was not a product I would ever repurchase. I hated the scent it smelled mostly like ginger and was just a scent I don't find particularly appealing. The shower gel also felt like it didn't really get me clean and just kind of ran off my skin. I would be willing to try another shower gel from them but definitely not in this scent again.

Dr Hauschka Body Wash I hated this scent! It was almost like a lemon lollipop which I wasn't a huge fan of. I don't particularly want to smell like a lemon lollipop but I used up this Birchbox sample and will never use it again!

Harvey Prince lotion I liked this lotion. It was creamy, smelled great and if I needed lotion I would definitely consider purchasing this in the future.

Avojuice Coconut Melon Juice Lotion I honestly didn't finish this lotion because it was so horrible. The smell was horrendous and I couldn't even open up the bottle because it just smelt so bad. Never again!

Sweet Pea Lotion I'm a little sick of this scent and will not purchase anything from Bath and Body Works in this particular scent anytime in the near future. I do love the lotions from Bath and Body Works however, I will definitely be getting other lotions from them and already have a bunch of backups in my stockpile.

Perlier Lotion This lotion was nice, not great but nice. I like the consistency of it and it smelt like almonds (almost a little bit like the Jergens lotion). I got this in a Birchbox and although I enjoyed it I will not purchase a full size in the future because I have other lotions I like much better.

Almay Makeup Wipes These wipes were very nice and I thought they did the trick with taking off all my makeup. I thought they were light and didn't hurt my skin in any way which is definitely a plus. I have another of these in my stockpile and have already started using the next package.

Almay Eye Makeup Wipes These eye makeup wipes are great and I love that I can use them and my eyes aren't affected. I always get nervous when using products around my eyes since they are often sensitive due to my contacts. I can wipe my eyes and not feel any pain at all, nor do my contacts move around when I wipe with them. I have a ton of these in my stockpile and will definitely continue using them.

Covergirl Lashblast Clump Crusher Mascara This is my favorite mascara of all time. I hate wet mascara and this mascara is great because it's on the drier side. I am able to use it and not worry about the mascara getting all over my face. It also doesn't clump at all which I suppose is why they call it the "clump crusher".

Loreal Black Eyeliner I thought this was a great eyeliner. I use black eyeliner almost exclusively and this one went on really nicely and I would definitely repurchase it.

Nyakio Coffee Body Scrub This scrub wasn't my favorite, the granules were really tiny and I really like thicker scrubs that aren't quite as runny. It smelled like coffee which wasn't bad, but also not the scent I want my body to smell like either so I will not be purchasing this in the future.

Urban Decay Primer Potion I liked this product but I don't know that it's entirely necessary. I wouldn't purchase it unless I found it on sale because I don't think it's something I need to use every day.

Boscia Blotting Linens I didn't find these blotting linens to be entirely necessary either. I liked them but I found that it took me a really long time to get through the small package of 25 because my skin doesn't get oily enough to get enough use out of them.

Laqa Purple Lipstick I'm sorry, but purple lipstick isn't really my thing! I was a little upset that Birchbox sent me this because I don't know many people who go around wearing purple lipstick regularly so I am tossing this!

12 Burts Bees Chapsticks I have a serious addiction but I love the tingly feeling that Burts Bees gives off!

Supergoop Sunscreen I liked this sunscreen a lot from the two samples I had. I would be willing to try this again in the future, but I've seen it listed as very expensive online so I'm not sure it would be something I would want to spend money on.

Coola Mineral Sunscreen I didn't care for the fact that this sunscreen was tinted. It made me feel like my skin was discolored. I am really interested in trying other Coola products, although I've heard they are pricey so I will need to look into it.

Coppertone Sunscreen I liked this sunscreen- it worked really well and felt lightweight on my skin. It smelt great and I would definitely purchase it again!

Aerie Perfume I am so thankful to say goodbye to this shampoo. It is a fresh scent but has changed a little bit over the years. I have so many perfumes and I'm trying to use up a few of my older perfumes so I can focus on the ones I actually love and enjoy using- so I'm thrilled to see this one go!

Catherine Malandrino Perfume As I mentioned in my Birchbox Review last Friday I was surprised that I actually liked this perfume. It was a little strong at first but I really liked the scent and it's worth checking out.

Jason Tea Tree Deodorant This is the only deodorant I've been using lately because I've switched to all-natural deodorant as I mentioned in a previous post called My Deodorant Story and I've been loving it. It works really well and the scent is light which is great since I hate really heavily scented deodorants.

Bath and Body Works Caribbean Escape Hand Wash This hand wash was kept in the bathroom I share with my brother. It smells fantastic and I would definitely purchase this in the future. I actually have another container of this and can't wait to use it again.

Febreeze To Go This little bottle has been living in my car for years now. I take it out and spray my car when my dog has been in it or if I've left any food or coffee in it long enough for any odor to develop. I would definitely pick this up if I could work out a couponing deal for it.

Biotrue Contact Solution This has been my all-time favorite contact solution and I actually received it as a free sample. I will definitely purchase this when I run out of contact solution because it's very gentle on my contacts and more importantly on my eyes!

Skintimate Dry Skin Shave Gel I liked this shave gel but I'm not picky about what kind I use. I would pick this up again if I got it while couponing. It smells like baby power which was pleasant but not my favorite scent for shave gel!

Skintimate Luscious Kiwi Splash Shave Gel This shower gel had a great scent and I would definitely pick it up again while couponing. I have used this a few times and although I'm not picky about shower gel I think that this kiwi one is one of my favorites.

Bath and Body Works Pear Antibac I enjoyed this antibacterial soap and kept it in my purse for the whole summer. It only had a little bit of an alcohol scent, but it wasn't overwhelming.

Q-Tips Who doesn't love Q-tips?! I only purchase this brand of cotton swabs because I use them for both my ears and removing makeup under my eyes. I keep repurchasing these and will continue for the foreseeable future!

Neutrogena Cream Cleanser I use this face wash religiously and it makes my skin slightly less dry. I've already repurchased it and have started a new one.

That's all for my summer empties! What products have you finished up recently?

Brunette Ambition by Lea Michele

A few weeks ago I  saw Lea Michele on The Dr. Oz show and heard she had written a book so I thought I would give it a try.

Brunette Ambition by Lea Michele is an interesting array of personal stories, information about some of Lea's favorite things and tales from her professional life. I have always liked Lea Michele. I thought she had a beautiful voice and felt so sad for her when her on screen/off screen boyfriend Cory Monteith passed last year. I wanted to read her personal stories and hear about her life from the only view that really matters, her own.

I enjoyed quite a few of Lea's stories. She shared quite a bit about her childhood and her rise to fame on the Broadway scene. I also liked reading about her experiences on Glee and what a typical day on the set was like for her and the other actors. I also liked hearing about her personal life in Los Angeles. Lea appears to be an extremely private person with a low-key lifestyle. I think I would get along with her really well, seeing that she prefers to have a low key night at home over a wild night at  the club.

The only part of the book I wasn't a huge fan of were the sections where she shared recipes. Lea shared recipes for her daily meals, face masks, etc and I just wasn't looking for that in this book. I wanted to read more about her; not what she eats!

Overall, I would say if you are a huge fan of Lea Michele this is a great book to read. If you are just somewhat a fan I would still read it but I don't think it's worth the money of actually purchasing it. If you aren't a fan of Lea Michele, I wouldn't read this because it really is mostly about her.

Have you read any books you weren't 100% sold on lately?

May Birchbox Review

Since I received my Birchbox a little bit late last month my review is a little late as well- but I'm ready to share my reviews with you, so here we go!

This first bloom candle is wayyyy too floral for me. The candle itself is nice enough, but I don't care for the scent at all. I am not in to floral scents, I prefer to have something a bit lighter but it was still nice to get a candle inside my box since it's something I've never received in a Birchbox before!

I like this Cotz product but wasn't really impressed with it. It didn't mess with my skin, but also didn't do anything really great for it. I wouldn't purchase a full size of this product but would try it again if I got it for free.

I had previously used Beauty Protector products, but not these particular ones. I liked the shampoo and conditioner, they had a great scent and seemed to work fine in my hair. I didn't particularly love them. The conditioner didn't make my hair as soft and silky as some other conditioners do, but it was pretty good. I wouldn't purchase these in full size only because I have other products that I like better and are able to get for free.

I wasn't sure about this Pixi lip product because I am pretty much exclusively a Burts Bees chapstick girl. I wasn't a huge fan of the color I received but the product was nice enough. My lips felt a little dry but they always seem to when I use anything except my Burts Bees.

So that's all I received in my box this month! Remember, if you received a Birchbox you can review it on the website in order to receive 10 points for each product you review! The points add up quickly and you can use them to purchase items in the Birchbox store!

Have you tried any new products recently?
