Tea Tree Shampoo- Yay or Nay?

I was recently approached by Maple Holistics and asked if I was interested in tryout out a product from their website. I saw the Tea Tree anti-dandruff shampoo and after checking out the description on their website I jumped at the chance!

I am the lucky owner of dry, damaged hair which also comes with a super dry, sometimes flaky scalp. It's lovely, really. I have been the user of T-Gel and Head and Shoulders to keep my flakes to a minimum and how embarrassing is that? It's never been to the point where I worried about it showing up in pictures or noticed flaking on my clothes but I have definitely noticed it while brushing my hair.

So, the Tree Tree anti-dandruff shampoo is all-natural which I am all for. Tea tree, rosemary and lavender all go into this bottle and they are all hard-working ingredients which together create a healthier scalp.

When I hopped in the shower I let my hair get damp and then used a quarter sized amount of shampoo. I found that even though the shampoo boasts being sulfate-free it still lathers quite nicely. I used the majority of it on my scalp by massaging it in but did run it through the rest of my hair as well. The instructions said to leave the shampoo on for two or three minutes but I chose to leave it on for about five to get extra clean. After rinsing, I followed everything up with my Head and Shoulders Almond Oil conditioner.

The verdict? This product is a total yay!

I have found my scalp to be dandruff free since I started testing it out and I will definitely continue to use it!

The best part? The lovely folks over at Maple Holistics will let you try their products if you click here.  In the form you can choose which product you'd like to try if you are looking for something different to test out!

Please let me know if you've used any other products from Maple Holistics and if you've liked them! Also I'd love to hear about any natural products you've loved since I'm becoming a bit more aware of what it is the products I'm putting on my skin lately!

Have a great weekend everybody!

Living Proof Perfect Hair Day Review

So. I think I've given it a fair shot...

and the verdict is....

Living Proof Perfect Hair Day is NOT my perfect hair day.

I honestly had high hopes for this little bottle. Everything I heard was awesome and I really wanted to like it....

My hair is naturally like a lions mane. It's wavy/curly, really tangly, super thick and just big. I usually don't let people see my hair natural because it's just a mess and I don't like it but I had to wear it down this day at work just to test out the product.

Here I am heading into work. I had washed my hair and applied the product the night before and put my hair in a braided bun to help the product do it's magic waves.

My hair has natural waves anyways so this product didn't really create that for me. It just made my hair feel super dry and tangly.

You can see towards the back of my head my hair looks really tangled. It was and I absolutely hated having to leave my hair like this all day. Never again!

This product just made my hair feel damaged and I would much rather spend the time curling my hair to create nice waves then do this beachy look where my hair is untouchable. (Who would want to touch dry, tangled hair? Not me!)

So this was a flop. Such a bummer but at least now I know and hopefully can save you from buying this product!

Spring Empties

Well friends we are officially in our new apartment! #apartmentliving

There are still quite a few things left to do. Things to put away, pictures to hang, items to buy... all that fun stuff that goes along with moving. I can't wait to share everything with you! I have so many fun new items I purchased to share and I can't wait to do an official tour of each space. However, all in good time! While I'm finishing up that fun over here let me share with you all the empty products I tossed before I moved out of the old house.

Usually I do my spring empties March, April and May however I did cut it a little short and the rest of May will be included with my summer empties. It's also possible I may do these posts a little more frequently so I don't have the HUGE bag of trash hanging out in my apartment all the time!

Anyways, here's what I finished!

Bath and Body Works Leaves Candle- This is my favorite candle of all time! It is so spicy and wonderful I would gladly burn it every single day. If you've been living in a hole you may not have heard of this candle, but I'm pretty sure most of you already know how wonderful it is!

Yankee Candle Sugared Vanilla Candle- I bought this candle mostly for Tim because he loves vanilla scents and it was on sale at Kohls. I am not a huge fan of Yankee Candle scents because they smell great in the jar but don't have much of a scent throw. I found this one to be pretty much the same. I never ever buy Yankee Candles at full price anymore because of that!

Yankee Candle Bermuda Beach Candle-  If I had to pick a favorite Yankee Candle scent this would be top dog by far. I honestly wish the scent throw was better because this candle is magnificent in the jar. It's a beachy scent but has a little bit of fruitiness in it as well. A perfect mix of salty, sweet and beachy!

Airborne- Unfortunately in March I was feeling pretty sick so I started taking some Airborne to get myself healthy once more. Tim also took a ton of these to ward off the cold I had. I hate Airborne when you have to drink it but these gummies were tolerable.

Brogue Deep Conditioning Mask- I love a good hair mask and this one worked well on my hair. It's been super dry lately since I highlighted it and I need all the help I can get. I didn't feel it did anything amazing for my hair, but it certainly didn't hurt it. I always feel a slight change after using a hair mask- not enough to go out of my way to purchase one, but enough to use it when it's available in the future.

Vitafusion Women's Gummy Vitamins- I'm not a huge vitamin person but every once in awhile I'll pick some up at the store and they are always gummies! I liked these and would definitely buy them again in the future but I did switch it up this time and have vitamins that aren't specifically for women so Tim can take them too.

Not Your Mother's Way To Grow Shampoo- I've been trying to grow my hair out and this shampoo has worked great for me in that aspect. I am finding that my hair is more dried out then it was before but that tends to happen when I use the same product for too long. I will definitely be trying something new next but will repurchase this in the future.

Reach Floss- Keep those teeth clean friends! I have been doing my best to floss on a regular basis and really like the Reach floss. It works well and has a great taste which is good in my book for the not-so-fun job that this product is meant to do.

Opti-Free Contact Solution- I used many bottles of this contact solution for quite some time and recently switched because it was just not cleaning my contacts as well as I needed it to. I don't think I will ever go back to this solution because I like the product I'm using now much better.

Pantene Classic Clean Conditioner- This is a Tim empty and he loved it so much that he repurchased it last time we were in Walmart. When he asked me to pick up shampoo and conditioner for him I was at a total loss and picked up a set that seemed the least girly. He must've liked it!

Cake Batter Chapstick- Eight cake batter chapsticks completed! They are currently my favorite chapstick and I will keep repurchasing them.

Febreeze Set and Refresh- This works great at a distance but I hate when I pick it up and am close to the smell. I would only get these if they were free again, not something I would actually spend money on!

Dove Shampoo and Conditioner- I used these during my trip to Florida and I did like them but there are definitely shampoo and conditioners that I like much better and would repurchase first.

Rimmel Scandal Eyes Mascara- This mascara was way too wet! I prefer my mascara to be dry and go on nicely. I don't like when my mascara comes off my lashes and doesn't dry right away. I wouldn't ever purchase this in the future.

Bath and Body Works Crisp Morning Air Lotion- This lotion was one of my favorites of all time! I had never tried this lotion before but I love Bath and Body Works fall scents so I was sold on this particular scent from the moment I sniffed it in store. I will definitely re-purchase this one.

Bath and Body Works Fresh Sparkling Snow Lotion- I purchased this lotion primarily for the packaging because it was so gorgeous but I absolutely loved this lotion. It smelled amazing and I will purchase this next winter when it comes back out.

Dior Maximizer Mascara Primer- Such an expensive product but very worth it! My lashes never looked better then when I applied this before my mascara. I will be saving up to purchase this again but it is definitely a splurge.

Maybelline Brown Tones Eyeshadow- I have had this eyeshadow duo forever and I was so glad to hit pan. I do like the Maybelline eyeshadows, they aren't as great as other eyeshadows but for drug store shadows they do the job.

Yankee Candle Amber Sunset Tealights- I finished a few tealights and they definitely aren't my favorite but I'm almost done with my stash. I prefer bigger candles to smaller ones due to the scent throw.

Patchology Face Mask- I liked this mask but I find them kind of creepy. I like when you a product gets spread onto the skin instead of placing a mask onto the skin but I will finish using up the ones I have until they are gone. I don't think however that I will purchase them in the future.

Philosophy Shower Gel Samples in Raspberry Glazed, Homemade Honey Buns, Sweet Fluffy Cupcake, and Pink Almond Candy- I am not a huge fan of Philosophy shower gels, particularly these scents. I always seem to end up with shower gel scents from Philosophy that smell like food and that's not the scent I would chose normally. I will stick with other scents!

Viktor and Rolf Flowerbomb Perfume Sample- I want the full size SOOO badly! This is the perfume I'm currently coveting despite the fact that I own a ton of full size perfumes and certainly don't need a new one. Amazing scent and someday I will actually purchase it!

Not Soap Radio Lemon Shower Gel-  The lemon scent is definitely not my favorite but the shower gel itself is nice. I have a few of these left so I will keep using them up!

Olay Facial Moisturizer- I did like this at first but it started to bother my skin quite a bit. I didn't actually finish this product up but ended up tossing it. I am trying different lotions for my face now and will keep you updated on the new ones I try and if they work better then this Olay one!

Sephora Makeup Remover- This product is one I picked up because of ease while shopping in Sephora. I'm not picky about my makeup remover and this one was fine for my eye makeup. There wasn't much left in the container and I figured it was time to let this go since it had been quite awhile!

Dove Cucumber Deodorant- I don't love the idea of using a non-natural deodorant but this Dove one is nice and convenient to keep in my purse. I find that sometimes the non-natural ones tend to work better on super stressful or hot days. I keep trying to only use natural deodorants but will settle for only using this one occasionally.

Benefit Roller Ball Mascara- I LOVED this mascara! As you've probably already realized from this post I love drier mascaras and this one was a great dry one! I will definitely be repurchasing this one again.

Maybelline The Falsies Mascara- Unfortunately this mascara is rather wet and not one of my favorites. I won't be buying this one again!

Anastasia Brow Gel- I have found I'm not really a brow girl. I don't need to fix my brows every day they aren't too unruly, so this is not a necessary product and I will not be buying brow products in the future.

Lavanilla Vanilla Coconut Deodorant-  I love this version of the Lavanilla deodorants. The coconut is a nice addition to the regular vanilla scent I buy. It really smells great and works well except as I mentioned above that I need to reapply or use a different deodorant on hotter days.

Cadbury Mini Eggs- I became obsessed with these during Easter this year! I ate quite a few packages of them this year! #obsessed

Philosophy Animal Cracker Shower Gel- At first I liked this scent but I am getting sick of all food scents Philosophy has! I am staying away from Philosophy shower gels for awhile!

Air Repair Moisturizer- I received this in a Birchbox and liked it but it certainly wasn't my favorite moisturizer. I was happy to finish it up.

Coola Sunscreen- I love love love when I receive Coola products in my Birchbox because they are so expensive! I used this while we were in Florida on my face and it worked wonderfully at keeping me from getting burnt!

Oscar Blandi Heat Protectant Spray- This is has been my favorite heat protectant for some time and sadly this was my last container. I desperately need to find some more!

Neutrogena Night Time Moisturizer- I used this at night before bed and it was great at keeping my skin moisturized while I slept. I would definitely use this again in the future.

Skintimate Tropical Splash Shave Gel- I am not picky with my shave gels but I love the scent of this skintimate one. I would definitely chose this scent over others in the future.

May Birchbox

Hello hello beauty lovers! I am ready to update you on my favorite and not-so-favorite products from my May Birchbox!

This months theme was Cupcakes and Cashmere and I thought the orange was a nice spring color for this months box.

I was excited to see a few bigger samples inside this box!

I've gone back and forth about Harvey Prince products, some have been great and some have been pretty lame. This Harvey Prince sea salt texturizing mist is a nice idea but I don't think it works super great in my hair. I prefer to have my hair heat styled either curled or straightened depending on my mood. I don't like my hair to be a mess and that's what sea salt spray does. I don't feel the need to purchase this in the future, but I may finish it up depending on my mood.

This Cotz flawless complexion seemed super dark when I first tested it on my hands but it actually blends in quite nicely. I love that this product has SPF in it and will use up this product in its entirety.

This is hands down my favorite product that came in my May Birchbox. Aruba Aloe's luxe foot cream is so luxurious and thick, it's amazing! I have almost finished this up entirely and would consider ordering a full size in the future because my feet feel awesome after covering them with this cream!

Benefit's lollibalm is a mango butter balm that has a very pink tint to it. The balm itself is nice on the lips but the color looks a bit silly on me. I tried it on a few occasions and I wasn't a huge fan. I will keep this in my lipstick/lipbalm collection but I don't know how often I will be wearing it.

I hate receiving perfumes in my Birchbox for two reasons. Number one, I have so many perfumes and body sprays already I really don't need anymore. Number two, When I don't pick a perfume out myself chances are I won't like it. I sprayed this once, hated it and threw it in my empties bag. Sorry Juliet has a Gun's Not a Perfume, you don't smell good!

Spring Empties!

Finally, this little blog is back up and running! I was super relieved to see my posts show up on my bloglovin feed this morning! =)

I thought today I would share my Spring Empties with you. I don't have a ton of items this season simply because I have been using up products at a leisurely pace, trying out different things and not worrying about finishing anything up right away.

So here we go!

BBW Merry Cookie Candle- This candle is a sugary sweet candle from Bath and Body Works. I especially enjoy this around Christmas time but I ended up finishing it up after March rolled around making it a spring empty. I find that the scent fits the colder months best and it's not something I would necessarily purchase again in the future since I prefer spicy scents over sweet scents, but it was nice!

BBW Black Sands Candle- I was surprised how much I liked this candle when I sniffed it in the store. It smells absolutely incredible! It is a spicy, beach scent that isn't too strong but I would highly recommend smelling it for yourself in stores because I will be purchasing this one again the future it was so good!

BBW Peach Bellini Candle- I would never have picked this scent out for myself, I actually won it during a baby shower a few years ago and it has sat in my candle collection ever since. I did finally use it up and found it to be very nice. I don't think it's a candle that I would need to purchase in the future but I definitely didn't dislike it. I have heard that many people love it but I'm not a huge peach person so maybe that's why I didn't like it as much, who knows!

6 Yankee Candle Amber Sunset Tealights- I've been working on using up my tealights and these six were nice enough. I don't think taillights give off enough scent so I'm trying to use them up since I really don't find them necessary!

Febreeze Set & Refresh- This little gadget hid behind a few picture frames in my room and it was great to keep my room smelling fresh! When you have these up close they smell awful, but in a room they smell fresh and fine.

Lysol Bathroom Cleaner- This was one of the last products I bought before I tried to go mostly natural with cleaners in the bathroom. I liked this cleaner but it smells awful strong. I much prefer to use something that doesn't smell like chemicals.

Method Daily Shower Cleaner- I spray this little love all over my shower every time I get finished showering and it keeps everything nice and clean. I really enjoy the mint smell of this product because it doesn't smell like chemicals and instead just smells fresh. I still deep clean my bathroom, but this product keeps my shower looking fresh between deep cleanings.

Satellite Glass Cleaner- When my windshield cracked the nice guy who fixed it gave me this sample and man is this stuff amazing. It cleans everything off your car windows and I really was disappointed when I finished it up.

11 Mint EOS Lip Balms- I went through a lot of these and I want to ween myself off of lip balm/chapstick and only use it a few times a day. I'm working on it!

2 Vanilla Mint EOS Lip Balms- I used two of these, I don't like the flavor as much as I like the plain mint ones but they are still nice.

2 Burts Bees Chapsticks- You'll remember if you've been a longtime reader that I once was addicted to Burts Bees. I did not actually use these two up, these are leftovers that I had already opened. I actually tried one of them and it tasted so much like chemicals to me I was grossed out! I can't believe I used to use it as much as I did! I gave away all of my leftover Burts Bees that were unopened to a friend that I know will use them!

Herbal Essence Hello Hydration Shampoo and Conditioner- I love this set! Both the shampoo and conditioner are great and the scent is fantastic as well. I keep repurchasing this drugstore shampoo and conditioner because it works great on my hair.

No 4 Shampoo and Conditioner- This was a sample from Birchbox and it was just okay. My hair felt tangly afterwards but it wasn't the worst shampoo and conditioner I've ever used either.

Beaver Shampoo and Conditioner- I did like this set for the most part, but it's not something  I would purchase in the future.

Macademia Deep Conditioning Mask-  I keep buying this for one simple reason, it works! I can't let go of my little macademia tub of love. I treat this like gold and enjoy every second I use it. My hair feels so much better when I use i!

BB Shampoo and Conditioner- I didn't care for these samples either it was nothing I would purchase in the future!

2 Essentials Shampoo, Omni Shampoo, Disney Shampoo, Fragonard Shampoo- All of these hotel shampoos were just okay. They didn't work wonders on my hair but I used them up because they were free from hotels and you know I can't resist free products.

Pantene Conditioner- I love a good Pantene conditioner and this kept my hair soft while I was trying out various shampoos from hotels. A good conditioner can work wonders and I find that Pantene just seems to understand what my hair needs- moisture!

Oscar Blandi Heat Protectant- This is my favorite heat protectant it works great at keeping my hair dry enough to use a heat styling tool with but puts something on it so I don't feel completely unprotected. I will be repurchasing this ASAP!

BBW Vanilla Bean Noel Lotion- I learned about this from Shay over at Mix and Match Mama, and I'm getting a little sick of this scent since I purchased so many! It's still a great lotion and you will be seeing a lot more where that came from.

Omni Lotion-  I kept this lotion in my purse and really enjoyed it. For a free hotel scent it worked great!

Model Co Shimmer Bronxing Powder- This made my skin look orange and I do not want to look like an oompa loompa. I tried it on a couple different occasions but have finally given up on it!

Covergirl Tru Blend Foundation- This foundation is far too light for my skin, I'm not sure why I purchased this particular one. I tried it a few times but it was just too light to work for me!

Pumped Up Maybelline Mascara- I thought that this was a solid mascara and I would definitely be willing to purchase it again in the future. My lashes didn't clump and I felt like it stayed all day.

Joeur Matte Moisture Tint- Another awful color for me! I finished up most of it, but it just wasn't worth it to try to finish it all.

Sweet Science Daily Tint- I thought the concept of this foundation was great but once again the color just wasn't right for me.

Makeup Forever Mascara- I loved this mascara and would definitely consider spending a bit more for this mascara over a drugstore one. I was incredibly impressed with its quality!

Laura Gellar Mascara- While the other two mascaras in this post I gave rave reviews to, this one I cannot. This mascara was very clumpy extremely quickly. It worked just fine in the beginning but probably a week or so later the whole thing was a clumpy mess, not something I want to deal with!

Fragonard Perfume Sample- Very strong! I'm glad I finished this sample because it was not my favorite. I like my scents to be light and airy not overwhelming.

There are two other perfume samples in the photo above which 1) I did not write down in my blog notebook and 2) I have already recycled. Therefore, I do not know what they are, only that I didn't care for them! (I'm sorry I'm such a jerk for having them in the picture and not writing them down!)

Athens Heavenly Goddess Peppermint Brown Sugar Scrub- I really enjoyed this sugar scrub, although because of the peppermint it made whatever part of my body I used it on feel really cold. That was a great part of using it during warm nights but not my favorite when it was cold out!

2 Nivea In Shower Lotions- I received both of these samples and am so glad I did because this is a really cool product. Instead of using a shower gel and lotion I simply used this in the shower, rinsed it off and my skin was feeling super soft! I would purchase this in the future without hesitation and I've already recommended it to friends.

Velvet Bubbles Oatmeal Milk & Honey Sugar Scrub- This scrub came from a local store called Entwined and it was very relaxing. The scent was great and I enjoyed it immensely.

BBW Vanilla Bean Noel Shower Gel- I purchased these after reading Mix and Match Mama's blog about her favorite scents. I purchased three shower gels and three lotions and have barely made a dent in them. I do like vanilla, but this isn't one of my favorite scents of all time there are definitely other shower gels I have liked over this one. You will be seeing more vanilla bean noel in the future though!

Essentials Shower Gel- A boring shower gel stolen from a hotel. I just used it up to use it up!

Philosophy Shower Gel in Christmas Cookie-  I am not a huge fan of this sugary scent! I think I've used up these samples and am pretty happy to be done with them!

Philosophy Shower Gel in Raspberry Glaze- I didn't care for this shower gel either. I generally like Philosophy, but this scent wasn't my favorite.

Hair and Body Gel- Another boring shower gel from a hotel you will never see again!

Athena's Supreme Shave Gel in Tropical Tease- This shave gel was great! I've been using it to shave for awhile now and I've found less bumps after shaving and significantly less razor burn. It is something I would consider purchasing in the future.

Coppertone Sunscreen- A girls gotta use her sunscreen, and make sure it's not expired! This one from last summer unfortunately expired over the winter so out it goes!

Gilette Fusion Shave Gel- Not great compared to the Athena's and it made me smell like a boy..but it was free so I'll use it!

Lavanilla Deodorant- This is my favorite deodorant I learned about from MakeupbyTiffanyD on Youtube. I find that it lasts all day and I love the classic vanilla scent. I will continue to purchase this even though it's a little pricey!

Method Beach Sage Hand Soap- I liked this Method soap and it seemed to last a lot longer then the BBW soaps! The scent was light and I will definitely use Method soaps in the future.

Biotrue Contact Solution- This was a necessity during this allergy season since I was constantly rinsing out my contacts! This contact solution works great and doesn't burn my eyes at all.

Origins Checks and Balances Frothy Face Wash- I liked this face wash, it worked just fine but it made my face slightly dry after washing. This was remedied by lotion, but it still made it drier then I prefer!

Glide Floss- Just an important way to keep those teeth clean! I try to floss as much as I can remember and I really like glide floss because it's gentle on my sensitive gums!

March Birchbox (And Review!)

Oh my I am running far behind this month! I am just getting around to posting about what I received in my March Birchbox...whoops! Since I'm so delayed I'm just going to share my review in this post as well. This may be something I do every month from now on, instead of a post where I show what I received and then one with a review I'm thinking I may just combine them from now on!

The Cover FX BB Gel is pretty much a BB cream and is a light coverage foundation. It matches my skin well and feels very light on my skin. I don't mind it at all- but it's definitely not my favorite. I wouldn't purchase it in the future but I will continue to use up the sample.

Sincerely by Harvey Prince isn't as horrible as the Harvey Prince Ageless I received last month but it is certainly not my favorite. This scent is described as sweet and spicy but I think it smells a little like a gross cleaning product...not what I want to smell like! I have been trying to use it up and have a couple more uses in my little sample- but this is going on a list of items I never want to purchase.

Oh my goodness. I am not a lipstick girl. At all. But man, this is a gorgeous lipstick! This color is mostly nude but adds a bit of shimmer and a tad bit of pink. Not only do I think it looks nice- it feels great which is more important. I have worn this out a few times recently and I'm a huge fan! I would honestly consider purchasing this in the future!

Another loved product! I have been using this Amika Blowout Spray before blowdrying my hair and it works great! I feel like my hair is protected and it smells fabulous. I would purchase a full size of this in the future for sure.

The N4 Clarifying Shampoo and Reconstructing Maque made my hair feel like crap. These products dried my hair out beyond belief and I would never use this again. I don't know how a reconstructing masque could possibly dry my hair out- but it did! Never again!

That's what I received in my Birchbox this month- what did you get? Any products you loved? Any you hated?

January Birchbox Review

This months Birchbox really killed it! I loved trying out every last product in this box and found some winners!

I love this Katherine Everyday Cosmetics Eyeliner. I received a dark brown eyeliner in my box and have loved using this with my everyday makeup. This eyeliner goes on flawlessly and lasts all day. I would definitely consider purchasing other eyeliners (and even other products from Katherine Everyday Cosmetics) in the future.

Oh my goodness. I was not excited about this product, at all. This Key West Aloe Gentle Aloe Facial Cleanser is AMAZING. I love the scent (it almost spends like a margarita) and it feels absolutely amazing on my skin. I will be using this as my daily cleanser until it's gone and would definitely repurchase this in the future.

At first I thought that this Sweet Science Invisible Daily Tint would be far too dark for my skin however it was almost an exact match to my skin. I would prefer some other foundations to this one but I will use this until it's gone because it's very light but has great coverage!

This REN Glycol Lactic Radiance Renewal Mask is something that I enjoyed using- it was quite refreshing on my skin. However, I don't use a face mask in my regular beauty routine- only on a rare occasion, therefore I don't need to purchase a full size. I will continue to use this up though because it's pretty nice!

This Tocca hand cream was very disappointing. I vaguely remember liking a Tocca hand cream in the past, but maybe I was wrong because this hand cream was extremely oily. I was so excited to try it...but was left wanting a less oily, more moisturizing cream! This is (once again) something I would not run out and purchase in a full size. There are plenty of other lotions I prefer over this one!

What beauty products have you tried out recently?

End of Summer Empties

Throughout June, July and August I tossed all my empty products inside a huge DSW bag so I could give you a bunch of reviews in one post!

I went through a ton of products over the last three months- over 80 products total! We're going to get through them as fast as possible- so we better get started!

I went through a ton of haircare products this month.

Pantene Prov V Advanced Keratin Shampoo and Conditioner- This was a great shampoo and conditioner combination, along with the Pantene Pro V Age Defy Hair Mask they made my hair feel incredible silky and light. I would use these thee products again without question..however since I got them couponing I'm not sure I would ever actually pay for them because there are other products I like a little bit more.

Macademia Deep Repair Masque is one of my all-time favorite hair products. It's quite pricey but I do love it and will continue to repurchase it. It makes my hair feel great and smells incredible!

Clear Scalp and Hair Therapy Shampoo and Conditioner are my favorite shampoo and conditioner combo currently. I would use them exclusively if I didn't get other things for free! They are amazing and they make my hair feel like it is completely healthy. I like the concept behind the Clear brand with hair health starting at the root, I think it truly makes a difference with my hair.

Loreal Advanced Shampoo and Conditioner this was a decent shampoo and conditioner. Not my favorite but I would use it again. I also liked the Loreal Repair Conditioner it seemed to make my hair feel nice and soft.

Biolage Matrix I hated this shampoo and conditioner. It made my hair so stringy and gross and I wanted to pour other types of conditioner on my hair to just make it feel a little bit better. I definitely will never purchase this and I don't know why so many people go crazy over it.

Suave Shampoo and Conditioner This is another okay shampoo and conditioner. It wasn't my favorite, it didn't do anything incredibly wonderful for my hair but it wasn't bad by any means. I wouldn't pay money for it but I would definitely use it again. The Suave Leave In Cream was okay but I didn't like leaving such a thick product in my hair.

Beauty Protector Shampoo and Conditioner This shampoo and conditioner was from a Birchbox and was absolutely awful. My hair felt like it was gluing itself together into mounds of tangles. I wouldn't recommend this particular shampoo and conditioner to anyone whose hair tangles easily.

Purse Brush I have been carrying this brush inside my purse for years and it's finally time to let it go!

Klorane Dry Shampoo I liked this dry shampoo but I'm excited to try other ones. This one was great and really made my hair feel nice when I didn't wash it so I would definitely pick it up again.

Diamond Candles Carnival Candy This was a great candle that smelt just like cotton candy! I didn't get a very good ring out of the candle (I NEVER get a good one!) but I love how much scent throw the soy candles seem to have. I would repurchase this scent again in the future- but I have loved every scent that I've tried from Diamond Candles. I will keep ordering from them- they make really great gifts too!

Bath and Body Works Palm Beach Cooler This is my favorite candle ever. Unfortunately, it wasn't brought back this year- meaning that this was the last candle of its kind that I will ever get to burn. I enjoyed it immensely while it lasted!

Bath and Body Works Coco Lobo This was a nice smelling candle but the small size made the scent throw awful. I want to actually smell my candles while they're burning! The scent of this was mostly sunscreen and I loved it!

Bath and Body Works Tiki Beach I liked this candle but once again- there was no scent throw! This smelled like the beach and had a great fresh scent and I would definitely consider repurchasing it in the future.

Febreeze Set and Refresh This air freshener made my room smell nice and fresh, however when you have it right in front of you it smells horrible! I got these for free when couponing and would be willing to get them again if I got them free.

Yankee Candle Vanilla Frosting Car Vent Clips These didn't seem to work at all! I don't think they smelt like vanilla frosting, nor did I feel like any scent was in my car from these vent clips. I would not purchase these again.

Sensodyne Toothpaste This is the only toothpaste I use anymore and this summer I finished up three travel sized ones and one large sized. This is the only toothpaste that doesn't give me canker sores so I refuse to use anything else! I highly recommend it if you have any issues with canker sores.

Crest 3D White Strips I liked these but I don't think that they are entirely necessary. If I happened to get a good deal on them I would purchase them and use them again.

Crest Pro Health Mouthwash I love this mouthwash- it''s so gentle and works well without making you feel like your mouth is on fire. I have stocked up on these and will continue using them. It's really easy to find these for free at the drugstores after coupons and sales so that makes them even better.

Listerene Mouthwash I used two of these free samples but I really don't care for this mouthwash. I don't really like feeling the burn in my mouth when I use this mouthwash but I would use it again if I got it for free but I definitely wouldn't pay for it.

Method Antibac Toilet Cleaner The toilet bowl cleaner works great and I love that there are no harmful chemicals in it but I didn't care for the scent of it. I would be interested in repurchasing it in the future, but I would definitely like to look for it in another scent if they offer it.

Pledge Multisurface Cleaner I liked this cleaner and it seemed to work well on all the furniture in my room. I have another in my stockpile and I would repurchase it in the future. The scent was really fresh and clean and didn't smell overly like cleaning product so I definitely enjoyed that.

Fragonard Shower Gel This shower gel smells orange-y, but not in a sickingly sweet orange way. It's actually from my trip to France last fall and the hotel that provided it was near the Fragonard perfumery. I wouldn't purchase this because it's just not a scent I really enjoy but I don't think that would be a possibility anyways.

Mercure and Me Shower Gel I finished up three of these little shower gels from my France trip. They were okay, not great. They smelled fresh but I couldn't pinpoint a particular scent they relate to!

Bath and Body Works Sweet Pea Shower Gel I am so sick of the sweet pea scent so I am definitely happy to see this shower gel take a hike. I love Bath and Body Works products but this scent is just one that I'm not repurchasing in the future.

100% Pure Gingerade Shower Gel I love 100% pure products and the theory behind them but this was not a product I would ever repurchase. I hated the scent it smelled mostly like ginger and was just a scent I don't find particularly appealing. The shower gel also felt like it didn't really get me clean and just kind of ran off my skin. I would be willing to try another shower gel from them but definitely not in this scent again.

Dr Hauschka Body Wash I hated this scent! It was almost like a lemon lollipop which I wasn't a huge fan of. I don't particularly want to smell like a lemon lollipop but I used up this Birchbox sample and will never use it again!

Harvey Prince lotion I liked this lotion. It was creamy, smelled great and if I needed lotion I would definitely consider purchasing this in the future.

Avojuice Coconut Melon Juice Lotion I honestly didn't finish this lotion because it was so horrible. The smell was horrendous and I couldn't even open up the bottle because it just smelt so bad. Never again!

Sweet Pea Lotion I'm a little sick of this scent and will not purchase anything from Bath and Body Works in this particular scent anytime in the near future. I do love the lotions from Bath and Body Works however, I will definitely be getting other lotions from them and already have a bunch of backups in my stockpile.

Perlier Lotion This lotion was nice, not great but nice. I like the consistency of it and it smelt like almonds (almost a little bit like the Jergens lotion). I got this in a Birchbox and although I enjoyed it I will not purchase a full size in the future because I have other lotions I like much better.

Almay Makeup Wipes These wipes were very nice and I thought they did the trick with taking off all my makeup. I thought they were light and didn't hurt my skin in any way which is definitely a plus. I have another of these in my stockpile and have already started using the next package.

Almay Eye Makeup Wipes These eye makeup wipes are great and I love that I can use them and my eyes aren't affected. I always get nervous when using products around my eyes since they are often sensitive due to my contacts. I can wipe my eyes and not feel any pain at all, nor do my contacts move around when I wipe with them. I have a ton of these in my stockpile and will definitely continue using them.

Covergirl Lashblast Clump Crusher Mascara This is my favorite mascara of all time. I hate wet mascara and this mascara is great because it's on the drier side. I am able to use it and not worry about the mascara getting all over my face. It also doesn't clump at all which I suppose is why they call it the "clump crusher".

Loreal Black Eyeliner I thought this was a great eyeliner. I use black eyeliner almost exclusively and this one went on really nicely and I would definitely repurchase it.

Nyakio Coffee Body Scrub This scrub wasn't my favorite, the granules were really tiny and I really like thicker scrubs that aren't quite as runny. It smelled like coffee which wasn't bad, but also not the scent I want my body to smell like either so I will not be purchasing this in the future.

Urban Decay Primer Potion I liked this product but I don't know that it's entirely necessary. I wouldn't purchase it unless I found it on sale because I don't think it's something I need to use every day.

Boscia Blotting Linens I didn't find these blotting linens to be entirely necessary either. I liked them but I found that it took me a really long time to get through the small package of 25 because my skin doesn't get oily enough to get enough use out of them.

Laqa Purple Lipstick I'm sorry, but purple lipstick isn't really my thing! I was a little upset that Birchbox sent me this because I don't know many people who go around wearing purple lipstick regularly so I am tossing this!

12 Burts Bees Chapsticks I have a serious addiction but I love the tingly feeling that Burts Bees gives off!

Supergoop Sunscreen I liked this sunscreen a lot from the two samples I had. I would be willing to try this again in the future, but I've seen it listed as very expensive online so I'm not sure it would be something I would want to spend money on.

Coola Mineral Sunscreen I didn't care for the fact that this sunscreen was tinted. It made me feel like my skin was discolored. I am really interested in trying other Coola products, although I've heard they are pricey so I will need to look into it.

Coppertone Sunscreen I liked this sunscreen- it worked really well and felt lightweight on my skin. It smelt great and I would definitely purchase it again!

Aerie Perfume I am so thankful to say goodbye to this shampoo. It is a fresh scent but has changed a little bit over the years. I have so many perfumes and I'm trying to use up a few of my older perfumes so I can focus on the ones I actually love and enjoy using- so I'm thrilled to see this one go!

Catherine Malandrino Perfume As I mentioned in my Birchbox Review last Friday I was surprised that I actually liked this perfume. It was a little strong at first but I really liked the scent and it's worth checking out.

Jason Tea Tree Deodorant This is the only deodorant I've been using lately because I've switched to all-natural deodorant as I mentioned in a previous post called My Deodorant Story and I've been loving it. It works really well and the scent is light which is great since I hate really heavily scented deodorants.

Bath and Body Works Caribbean Escape Hand Wash This hand wash was kept in the bathroom I share with my brother. It smells fantastic and I would definitely purchase this in the future. I actually have another container of this and can't wait to use it again.

Febreeze To Go This little bottle has been living in my car for years now. I take it out and spray my car when my dog has been in it or if I've left any food or coffee in it long enough for any odor to develop. I would definitely pick this up if I could work out a couponing deal for it.

Biotrue Contact Solution This has been my all-time favorite contact solution and I actually received it as a free sample. I will definitely purchase this when I run out of contact solution because it's very gentle on my contacts and more importantly on my eyes!

Skintimate Dry Skin Shave Gel I liked this shave gel but I'm not picky about what kind I use. I would pick this up again if I got it while couponing. It smells like baby power which was pleasant but not my favorite scent for shave gel!

Skintimate Luscious Kiwi Splash Shave Gel This shower gel had a great scent and I would definitely pick it up again while couponing. I have used this a few times and although I'm not picky about shower gel I think that this kiwi one is one of my favorites.

Bath and Body Works Pear Antibac I enjoyed this antibacterial soap and kept it in my purse for the whole summer. It only had a little bit of an alcohol scent, but it wasn't overwhelming.

Q-Tips Who doesn't love Q-tips?! I only purchase this brand of cotton swabs because I use them for both my ears and removing makeup under my eyes. I keep repurchasing these and will continue for the foreseeable future!

Neutrogena Cream Cleanser I use this face wash religiously and it makes my skin slightly less dry. I've already repurchased it and have started a new one.

That's all for my summer empties! What products have you finished up recently?
