February Birchbox Review

So this months Birchbox had me very intrigued the minute I opened it up. I was excited to try most of the items inside. I also saw chocolate immediately after opening the box, which made me more excited than any of the other items. Clearly I have my priorities straight right?

Yes, every bite was delicious. I recommend you go out this second and purchase some Ghirardelli chocolate with caramel inside. Yum, yum, yum!

This Vasanti BrightenUp! Face Rejuvenator I wasn't able to finish. The minute I put it on my face I completely broke out. I have extremely dry skin and rarely break out-like EVER, so this completely surprised me. Luckily I only put it on one side of my face since I was testing it and after a few hours my skin seemed to calm down. Needless to say this is OUT. I would not recommend it, but maybe it was just my skin...

I like this TIGI Catwalk dry shampoo. It has a strange smell, not bad, but just strange I guess. I'm not really sure how to describe it. It does add a bit of volume to my hair so I make sure to brush through my hair after I spray it in. I will continue to use this on days when I don't wash my hair because it makes me feel a bit cleaner and like my hair is refreshed!

In total honesty, I forgot about this item for most of the month and barely used it. I really don't like caking items like this on my skin- I really don't need a tons of makeup on my skin because I don't have a lot of breakouts so I always think that tints and foundations look weird on my skin. I will continue to try it out but I will not be purchasing this item in the near future.

This Juicy Couture La La perfume is okay. The smell isn't bad, it's just not my favorite scent by far. I'm horrible at describing scents but I think that the best way to explain it is that it's really really strong and sort of fruity. I tend to like scents like Pink Chiffon from Bath and Body Works or Wonderstruck by Taylor Swift. This scent was just very strong and I tend to like more subtle scents.

Overall, not a bad box. One item I hated, two that were okay, one that I really like, and a chocolate!

I have been trying to use a lot of my free sample items lately, soon I will be doing an "empties" post where I will go through all my empty samples and empty full size products and let you know what I think of them. I love hearing about what products other people have finished and loved or hated- so hopefully you guys will too!
