Shopping Day =)

Yesterday I was able to spend the day with my best friend, Rachel. It was such a nice day to go shopping and I had one stop that I really wanted to make- IKEA!

Rachel lives in Connecticut, only about 15 minutes from the IKEA store- a place I have never been. I know what you're thinking- someone who loves organization so much has never been to IKEA but unfortunately that was the case. We don't have one in Rhode Island (we also don't have a Container Store but that's a whole other story) I was so excited to get the full IKEA experience and my credit card came fully armed because I knew I was going to buy a few things.

I'm pretty sure this is what heaven looks like.

Anyways, I did manage to pick out a few things at IKEA- a lantern, 2 baskets, and snowflake lights! I really want an expedit shelving unit- however I didn't have a way to bring it home and I also don't currently have room for it! Someday =)

We did also manage to make it to a few other stores in our travels- Bakers, Pier 1,  and Sally Beauty Supply. Were also part of our shopping day. Here's a picture of the purchases I made throughout the day.

Black Boots- Bakers (they are currently liquidating so a bunch of stores are going out of business- these boots were 1/2 off! Rachel got two pairs)
Snowflake lights- IKEA
Baskets- IKEA
Naked Palette- Sally Beauty Supply (includes primer potion)
Lantern- IKEA
Ornaments (ball, pickle, starfish)- Pier 1
Candle Holders- Pier 1

Overall it was a successful shopping trip!

My snowflake lights were hung last night...

Pretty right? Well I sent Rachel that picture and she sent me back one of how she had hung up hers..
